Finally A Like-minded Genius On Margaret Cho

I have watch Margaret Cho’s standup show like Cho Revolution and honestly I do not find her funny. This remark will definitely invoked the bitchy disapproving blinks from some of my gay friends, but I will say it again- I find her GOD-DAMN boring. Except for the inital novelty as being a standup comedian who throw punches at Asians- she’s no Russell Peters. Her only consolation is she is more entertaining than Dane Cook.

Today I assessed Neurotically Yours and came across this cartoon.

Thank God, for a moment I thought I was the only one with a decent sense of humor.

On another note, I agree with the existing double standards in comedy and real life. Like the case of Don Imus, he was flamed by hypocritical assholes who host skits like “Red Neck News”. If he is getting “hanged” for this shit, I believe they should too. Fuck you too Opera Winfrey.

Obama, thank you for knocking some sense into the world today and clear some hypocrisy existing on the whole racial discrimination issue.

An Unfortunate Chain of Events

Found out that I might not be going to Yunan after all due to conflict of schedule with my internship.

Woke up today thinking that the briefing was at 1pm, only to discover that I am 2 hours off. Well that I guess that’s the thing that nailed the coffin shut.

On the bright side, at least I won’t be that broke after the summer.

Came across this Alice-theme art, love the photomanipulation. It burrows on the concept whether we should let the sleeping dog (in this case, girl) lie or wake them up from that Lala world they decided to stay in.

Media Whore!!!

My, my, my. Someone is a media whore!!! Technically “was”.

This is the first time I know of someone who prepared and submitted a media kit to the press before his final big crime. Talk about dying for attention. Let’s give it to

Media Kit consist of:

1 long text (yawn)

Photos of the “hunk” himself (did he autograph them)

a whopping 27 videos (…)

27 videos, what the hell… it is like ultra boredom!!! How can you say the same shit over and over and over again. It’s not porn and if it is, he is not hot enough to turn anyone on.

[Just a little titbit: according to his roommate, based on the background of the video, Cho filmed his videos at the common hallway. Close to 27 times with duration of more than 5 mins without getting caught with his ammunitions. Golly! I am deducing that he must have been monitoring the activity of the hallway for quite a while in order to pull of the shooting of the film and the literal shooting... what the fuck...]

With a voice like that, I wonder why I ain’t sleeping yet.

Thank god, he isn’t in my campus. He will totally bomb during his presentation. He can kill his class with his presentation itself either with unintended humor or his monotonous ramblings.

Fuckhead will definitely fail AS! Haha

Disturbing Writing? I totally agree

He was Cho Seung-Hui, the infamous perpetrator of the Virginia Tech massacre and, in my opinion, a total loser. I cannot fathom that there is detailed wikipedia entry about while there are more significant entries which requires more development. Losers like him doesn’t require that much attention.

The purpose of this post is to showcase his “writing abilities”. Though the content is disturbing, please have a great laugh over his horrendous sentence structure, tense and excessive cursing.. You can read his two play screens here. One is titled “Richard Mcbeef” and the other is “Mr BrownStone”. Both are total crap. I can’t believe that he was an English Major.

Virginia Tech University: school massacre

Firstly, my condolences to victims and families to of this unfortunate event. Upon reading the newspapers today, I was clearly disturbed over this mad shooting.

Secondly I feel fortunate that I am living in a country which bans the possession of arms. I believe that if Singaporeans do possessed arms, SMU will definitely be a sad sad place to be in.

When Buzz Marketing took a life of its own….

I bet many of you received the sms about closing pet shop in Joo Chiat. It was offering free dogs for adoption otherwise they will be put down within 24 hours. For those who were wondering if it was a hoax, well it was a half-truth blown out of proportion. No dogs were being put down nor were they free.

When you forward that type of sms or email to your friends for a clause or a great discount, you are part this marketing movement called buzz marketing. It is a cheap and effective way of informing your target market which doesn’t require visual cues.

This is intriguing to a marketing student how buzz marketing works in Singapore.
